Musketeers home schedule takes a dip this December with only 3 home games (Dec.10th, 17th, & 31st) and are on the road for 6 games. There may be little hockey played in Sioux City in December but each game will bring a lot of action.
Now with the snow soon to be falling and hockey season around the world in full-fledged, players and coaches are traveling to represent their countries in international play. Coach Jay Varady will take Matt Hellickson to reclaim the gold with Team USA at the World Junior A Challenge U18 in Bonnyville, Alberta from December 11th to 17th.
Finnish players Eeli Tolvanen and Aapeli Räsänen will head north of the boarder to participate at the World Junior Championship U20. Both players look to build off their success from their earlier gold this past April and help Finland take the gold medal two years in a row. (December 26th to January 5th World Juniors website)
