Detroit City FC News Release
Our motto at Detroit City FC is Passion for Our City, Passion for the Game, and now we're inviting YOU to showcase your passion for the game and the community with a new 5v5 Women's Soccer league format: Impact League. The league is going to take place on the same nights that the PASL team is in action, making it a night dedicated to Detroit women in football!
More information and how to join the league can be found here: https://www.impact-league.com/detroit-2024-winter
We are excited to announce our collaboration with a remarkable women's sports organization, EIR, to introduce Impact League, where teams are scored both for their soccer playing and their community work. The mission is to create a unique sports experience for players by combining athletic performance with social empowerment.
This is a recreational league and we need you to make it happen- come out as a team of colleagues, a team of friends, or as an individual, to participate in making a difference on and off the field.
A new scoring system that counts what matters. As a team, you'll play six game days from January through March 2024, plus develop a Purpose Project designed to better your community. As a team, you're scored both on your soccer skills and the reach of your social impact, with the winning team being awarded prize money to support their Purpose Projects.
