Today's Game: The Dayton Dragons (affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds) host the Lansing Lugnuts (affiliate of the Oakland Athletics) at Day Air Ballpark in the heart of the Water Street District. This is the fourth game of a six-game series. Season Series: Lansing 5, Dayton 4.
Last Game: Thursday: Lansing 5, Dayton 4. The Lugnuts scored four unearned runs in the seventh inning to win their second straight game in the series. Dayton's Austin Hendrick hit a two-run home run that gave the Dragons a 2-0 lead in the fourth before Lansing started back with a run in the sixth. The Dragons finished with five hits, led by Steven Leyton with two doubles. Chase Petty, the Dayton starter, fired four no-hit innings.
Dayton has hit 123 home runs, second highest total in franchise history. The club record is 144 in 2001 in a 139-game season. The Dragons are on a pace to hit 155 on the year (130-game season).
Austin Hendrick over his last six games is batting .300 with two home runs and a double.
