Catch Of The Day
No question about this one ... the morning kicked off with sunny skies once again. Quarterback Henry Burris stepped back to fire a 25 yard bullet in the area of Ken Yon Rambo. Rambo leaped in the air and pulled down a one handed catch, the reception drew a big reaction with players and fans.
Quote of the Day
The quote of the day came from Linebacker John Grace after loosing his shoe during drills. "I ran so hard...I ran out of my shoes."
Who looked good?
On defence, Linebacker John Grace was outstanding day blitzing the quarterback. As for the defensive line, Canadians Sheldon Napastuk and Randy Chevrier displayed grit and determination and were described as "Warriors" by Defensive Line Coach Casey Creehan. On the offensive side of the ball, Taylor Robertson looked good on his first day hitting the field. Running Backs Joffrey Reynolds and Ronney Jenkins both had good days hitting the holes for a couple of long runs.
