Ottawa Renegades News Release
OTTAWA – On the opening day of the new era in Ottawa Renegades Football, the team -- and revamped ownership group -- announced a special one-day sale scheduled for June 25, 2005 -- where fans can purchase a season ticket for only $99.
On the day after the first regular season game of the 2005 campaign, the Renegades will throw open the gates for affordable pricing, making it viable for everyone to become a season ticket holder of the Ottawa football team. The $99 sale (inclusive of tax, plus surcharge) will only be a one-day offer, and sold at the Silver City Movie Theatre complex in Gloucester.
“This is our way of creating a real connection with the community and a way to make season tickets to be affordable for everyone,” said Lonie Glieberman, president of the Renegades. “We want to make the stadium a fun place to be and have a great atmosphere in the park. This is our way of offering an opportunity to all of our fans to come out and be a part of each Renegades game this season.”
The $99 season ticket sections will be the south side upper deck and also in a family section at Frank Clair Stadium.
In addition to purchasing the season tickets at the Silver City theatre on June 25, the Renegades will be announcing other methods that fans can order the special deal for the one-day Saturday sale.
The Renegades open the home part of the 2005 regular season schedule on Canada Day when Ottawa hosts the Montreal Alouettes. The July 1st game kicks off at 6 p.m. at Frank Clair Stadium.
