Danville, IL - The Danville Dashers defeated the Brewster Bulldogs 4-1 tonight, riding the 42 saves of Matt Anthony. The Dashers road behind Anthony for the entire night and took the win in somewhat easy fashion.

Justin Brausen netted the Hat Trick for the Dashers, and newcomer Pierce Butler scored the other goal for Danville.

Cory Giroux picked up the lone goal for the Bulldogs late in the third period, with assist going to John Scully and Michael Zannella.

The Dashers had 49 penalty minutes on 11 infractions, to the Bulldogs 7 minutes on 2 infractions. The Bulldogs outshot the Dashers 43-28, but the Dashers clearly out hit the Bulldogs for the contest.

The Dashers will be in action at home next, Saturday November, 21st against Port Huron at 7:05pm.
