Dashers Complete Four-Player Trade with Elmira

Danville, IL - On Sunday morning, the Danville Dashers completed a four-player trade with the Elmira Enforcers. The Dashers traded Glen Patterson (F) in exchange for Dylan Farrell-Reny (D), Liam Little (F) and Marvin Powell (F).

Liam Little will be making his pro debut this season with the Dashers after competing in the GMHL (Greater Metro Hockey League) with the North York Renegades the last two seasons. Over his 65-game career in the GMHL, Liam tallied 10 goals, 33 assists, and 43 points, averaging 0.66 points per game.

During the offseason, Marvin Powell signed a PTO with Elmira to play with former Dashers Head Coach Brent Clarke. Marvin is familiar with the Dashers organization, as he came to Danville last year in the dispersal draft, after North Shore left the league. In the 38 games he appeared in the FHL last season, he scored 2 goals, had 6 assists and 8 points. "Great character guy, brings a great atmosphere to our locker room" said head coach Paul MacLean.

South Portland, Maine native, Dylan Farrell-Reny will be returning to the FHL after appearing in 2 games last season with North Shore. Before making his professional debut, he played for Central Maine Community College (ACHA II) and the Tillsonburg Hurricanes (GMHL).

The Dashers will open their 2018 Training Camp on Oct 15th . Camp is open to the public and you can find the practice times on DanvilleDashers.com. The 2018-2019 season will kick off on Oct 26th as the Dashers welcome in the Elmira Enforcers game time at 7:05 PM at the David S. Palmer Arena.
