WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Dash pulled ahead late against Greensboro to nab a 4-2 win.

The Dash got off to a hot start, right away in the bottom of the first inning.

Moises Castillo picked up a one-out single and was still on first when Bryan Ramos dug in to face Nick Garcia with two outs. After falling behind in the count 0-2, Ramos turned on a pitch and torched it over the berm in left field for a two-run home run, his team-leading ninth of the season.

Garrett Schoenle got the start for Winston-Salem after scheduled starter Jordan Mikel was sent to the injured list, and he held Greensboro quiet through the first three innings. Schoenle sent Greensboro down in order in both the first and second innings, and gave up just a single in the third inning.

In the top of the fourth, Jackson Glenn blasted a leadoff solo home run to cut the deficit to 2-1. Then in the fifth, the 'Hoppers kept the pressure coming. Ernny Ordonez singled and moved to second on a wild pitch. Eli Wilson walked, then Francisco Acuna singled to load the bases. After a mound visit, Yoyner Fajardo lifted a sacrifice fly into left field to score Ordonez, and tie the game at 2-2.

The game held at 2-2 until the bottom of the seventh, which began with a Terrell Tatum bloop double down the left field line. Duke Ellis doubled as well, but a good defensive play forced Tatum to stay put at third. Moises Castillo then broke the deadlock with a sacrifice fly to left field, with Tatum dashing home. Later in the inning, with two outs, Luis Mieses added another run with a line drive single down the right field line to put Winston-Salem up 4-2.

After Jesus Valles fired a 1-2-3 eighth inning, Ty Madrigal was tasked with handling the ninth. After a one-out walk to Hudson Head**,* Madrigal got *Ernny Ordonez* to bounce into a game ending 4-6-3 double play. That gave Madrigal his second save of the year, Valles got the win, and *Logan Hoffman** suffered the loss.
