
Darwin Jones Named USL Player of the Week

SEATTLE, WASH. - Seattle Sounders FC 2 forward Darwin Jones has been voted USL Player of the Week for Week Two of the 2015 USL season. This is the second consecutive week that an S2 player has received the award, with midfielder Pablo Rossi being named Player of the Week in Week One.
Jones received 38 percent of the vote for his performance against Whitecaps FC 2 on March 29, when he scored the first hat-trick in S2 history, leading his side to a 4-0 victory. The game also marked his first professional appearance since signing with Sounders FC as a Homegrown Player on January 9, 2015.
S2 next faces Portland Timbers 2 in USL play on April 11 at Starfire Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT.
