January 20, 2010 - NBA G League (G League)
New Mexico Thunderbirds News Release

ALBUQUERQUE, NM, Jan. 20, 2010 - The Albuquerque Thunderbirds today announced the team has re-acquired Tony Danridge. Danridge fills a spot vacated by Keith McLeod, who was waived due to injury.

Danridge has played 11 games with the T-Birds this season, averaging 8.9 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists.

"It's really promising to have Tony back on our team and to have a full 10 man roster," said head coach John Coffino. "Tony has looked good in practice and we expect him to contribute immediately. He surely will add to our newly acquired firepower, and his athleticism will definitely add balance to our team."

Danridge is coming off a stellar career at the University of New Mexico, where he finished as the school's 16th all-time leading scorer. During his senior campaign, he led the team with 14.9 ppg and was named First Team All-Mountain West Conference. He capped his collegiate career with a win at the NCAA Slam Dunk contest, held during the 2009 Final Four.

The Thunderbirds will be in action tonight when the team takes on the Bakersfield Jam. The team will also host games on Friday, Jan. 22 and Saturday, Jan. 23. All games take place at Tingley Coliseum and will tip-off at 7 pm.

You can bring your group out to the game for as low as $4 per ticket. Call 505.265.3865 or visit www.abqtbirds.com for more information.
