DES MOINES, IA. - Iowa Barnstormers defensive lineman Lebron Daniel was named the Indoor Football League's Vidswap.com Defensive Player of the Week for Week 6, the League announced yesterday.
Daniel (6'2, 250, Iowa) earned IFL Defensive Player of the Week Honors after a dominating performance against the Billings Wolves in week 6. Daniel collected five total tackles and two sacks in Iowa's 38-27 victory over Billings. Daniel and the Barnstormers will travel to Spokane, Washington to take on the Empire this Friday, April 1.
The Indoor Football League awarded quarterback Dylan Favre of the Cedar Rapids Titans with Offensive Player of the Week while kicker Rockne Belmonte of the Wichita Falls Nighthawks earned Special Teams Player of the Week.
The Barnstormers return home on Saturday, April 9 to face the Nebraska Danger (3-2) at 7:05 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena. There is still time to order single game or partial season ticket packages.
