Dan Kelly named to 2009 OHL All-Star Classic Roster

The Ontario Hockey League All-Star Committee has named Kitchener Rangers Captain Dan Kelly to the roster for the 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic. The event runs from February 2nd to 4th in Windsor at the WFCU Centre.

The Kitchener Rangers selected Dan Kelly with the 42nd overall pick in the third round of the 2005 Ontario Hockey League Priority Draft.

"My style of play is hard-working," Kelly commented. "Get pucks in their zone, get pucks out of ours. Nothing flashy really."

The 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic takes places on Wednesday February 4, 2009 at 7:00 pm at the WFCU Centre. Other special events include the Skills Competition and Alumni Game on Tuesday February 3, 2009. The 2009 Subway OHL All-Star Classic features the best players from the Western Conference taking on the best from the Eastern Conference. Last season in Sault Ste. Marie the Eastern Conference won 8-7 in a shootout. The game will be broadcast on Rogers Sportsnet Ontario.
