
Dallas Stars Re-Sign Forward Scott Glennie

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The 2014 Calder Cup Champion Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has re-signed right wing Scott Glennie to a one-year, two-way contract. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Glennie, 23, scored a professional career-high 15 goals and posted 28 points (15 goals, 13 assists) in 50 regular-season contests during his third full season with the Stars in 2013-14. He also earned 10 points (six goals, four assists) in 20 postseason games during the team's Calder Cup Championship run.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound forward made his professional debut with Texas on April 6, 2011. In 161 games, Glennie has collected 79 points (32 goals, 47 assists) for the Stars. The native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, was drafted by Dallas in the first round (8th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
The Texas Stars are preparing to defend their 2014 Calder Cup championship as the 2014-15 season rapidly approaches. Texas opens their 2014-15 pre-season schedule on Friday, October 3rd against the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
