P-Bruins Announce Dates for Opening Night, Other Early Season Special Events

PROVIDENCE, R. I. - The Providence Bruins are proud to announce the dates for four key events at the Dunkin' Donuts Center to kick off the 2014-15 season.
The festivities begin on Sunday, September 21 with the Boston Bruins Black & Gold Scrimmage presented by Dunkin' Donuts. The P-Bruins Preseason Game & Fanfest presented by Dunkin' Donuts, featuring fan interactive activities and a P-Bruins preseason game, is scheduled for Friday, October 3. A week later the Providence Bruins drop the puck on the regular season on Friday, October 10 for Opening Night in Providence. Lastly, the annual Pink in the Rink night, in support of the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, will take place on Friday, October 24.

The Providence Bruins are an American Hockey League franchise and the top affiliate of the NHL's Boston Bruins. Since moving to Providence in 1992 the P-Bruins have won five division titles, three regular season titles and the Calder Cup in 1999.
