Dallas Stars Assign Three Players to Texas Stars; Gazdic Claimed by Oilers

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, proud American Hockey League affiliate of the Dallas Stars, announced today that Dallas has assigned goaltender Cristopher Nilstorp and forwards Travis Morin and Colton Sceviour to Texas. In addition, left wing Luke Gazdic was claimed off waivers by the Edmonton Oilers.

Texas' training camp roster now stands at 33 players, including four goaltenders, 11 defensemen and 18 forwards. Dallas' training camp roster now stands at 25 players, including two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 15 forwards.

The Texas Stars will complete their pre-season schedule on Sunday, September 29th as they host the San Antonio Rampage for a 5:00 p.m. face off at Cedar Park Center. Texas will begin the 2013-14 season with Opening Night on Saturday, October 5th as they host the Chicago Wolves at 7:00 p.m. 2013-14 Texas Stars Season Tickets and Individual Game Tickets are currently on sale.
