August 19, 2019 - Major Arena Soccer League (MASL)
Dallas Sidekicks News Release
(ALLEN, TEXAS) The Dallas Sidekicks were back in the Allen Event Center on Saturday, August 17th to face Team Australia in the Professional Futsal League International Challenge. This was a great team-building experience for the players and allowed rookies and veterans to bond in a fun environment. Fans had the opportunity to watch players in action before the Major Arena League Soccer season starts in November.
Veteran players such as Cameron Brown and RJ Luevano were seen on the court alongside one of our newest players, Felipe De Sousa. Some Sidekicks legends like Bruno Guarda and Fabinho even joined in the fun. The Sidekicks worked together to pull off a 10-3 win over Team Australia.
When asked about how it felt to win this game, Sidekicks forward Cameron Brown said, "Tonight was great. Obviously to get a win here even though it's a futsal match against an experienced Team Australia was very important." The team as a whole saw this as a way to build team chemistry while having fun and without having any pressure. It bonded the team as a whole and was a great experience for players and fans alike.
The MASL will be announcing the 2019-2020 season very soon. Make sure to grab your season tickets now by calling the Sidekicks front office. Don't miss out on your chance to be a part of all the action!
