Dallas Desperados News Release
The Dallas Desperados waived FB/LB Jonathan Jackson. With the open roster spot, the Desperados activated WR Dialleo Burks from the club's Reserve/Refused to Report list.
Burks, who re-signed with Dallas leading up to the 2006 AFL season, spent his first two years (2002-03) with Dallas before playing a season and a half with the Georgia Force (2004-05) and the final part of the 2005 season with the Grand Rapids Rampage. In his return to Dallas in 2006, Burks finished with his highest number of touchdown catches (29) and his second highest totals for receptions (93) and receiving yards (1,130). He added seven runs for 20 yards and two scores.
