Shaun David and Carlos Videla each scored three goals in helping the Dallas Sidekicks defeat the Tulsa Revolution, 14-5 at the Cox Business Center, Saturday night.
Dallas jumped out to an early lead, scoring just 2:26 into the first quarter on a rocket by Jamie Lovegrove. It was Lovegrove's first of two goals on the night.
Dallas had a 4-1 lead after one quarter of play. Tulsa's only goal in the first quarter was a shot from Michael Poneys from the right corner just inside the far post.
Tulsa got a goal by Bryant Scrapper with 12:37 remaining in the second quarter, to cut the Dallas lead to 6-2, but by halftime the Sidekicks held a 10-2 lead.
The Revolution played much better in the second half, but it wasn't enough to overcome the eight goal deficit.
Scoring in the third quarter for Tulsa were Poneys with his second of the game, and Cristian Mata with a pair of goals.
Next up for the Revolution; Tulsa will host Wichita, Sat. Nov. 29 at 7:05 p.m. at the Cox Business Center.
