Dale Murphy Comes to Spirit Communications Park June 22

COLUMBIA, SC - Former Braves legend Dale Murphy will be at Spirit Communications Park for a Columbia Fireflies game on Friday, June 22, against the Lakewood BlueClaws. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. and tickets are available at FirefliesTickets.com. Murphy will meet with the media from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. and throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The seven-time All-Star will also sign autographs on the concourse during the game.
Murphy spent more than a decade with the Braves (1976-1990) and inked his name in team history. The outfielder earned National League MVP honors in 1982 and 1983. He also won a Gold Glove Award five times and was a recipient of the Silver Slugger Award four times.
