Dads Get Their Day At Greer This Sunday
June 16, 2004 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Nashville Sounds News Release
The Nashville Sounds will do their best to debunk the notion that fathers don't get the recognition they deserve by holding a special Father's Day promotion on June 20th at Greer Stadium.
Through this special promotion, children will be able give their Dad what he has always wanted â a day at the ballpark with his children.
For a mere $20 per person, Dad and family will receive lower reserved tickets to the 6 p.m. game between the Albuquerque Isotopes and the Sounds and enjoy a special night with his family at the ballpark. As an added bonus, for just $50 more Dads can obtain a personalized Sounds jersey.
Before the game even gets underway, Dads will be offered a once in a lifetime opportunity when they get the chance to play catch with their children on the field at Greer Stadium. There will also be a special BBQ feast in their honor on the bullpen deck for the whole family and a chance for the man of the house to throw out the first pitch.
On top of all the special festivities for Dad there will also be special giveaways at the ballpark on Father's Day, including a chance to win VIP Dave Matthews Band concert tickets.
There will also be a chance for those at the ballpark to win a season long membership to the Legacy Golf Course and for others to win autographed Sounds jerseys.
The first 5,000 fans to walk into Greer Stadium will also receive a free 2004 Nashville Sounds team photograph, courtesy of EXPO Design Center.
Tickets may be purchased by calling the Sounds at (615) 242-4371, ordering online, or by visiting the Greer Stadium box office, located at 534 Chestnut Street.
