Jackson, TN- In the final game of a three game series, the West Tenn Diamond-Jaxx scored one run in the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th innings in route to a 4-2 win over Mississippi. Mycal Jones hit his second homer in as many days for the Braves, but in the end, it wasn't enough. The Diamond-Jaxx take the series two games to one, but the Braves take the season set eleven games to ten.

Mycal Jones hit a solo homer in the 1st inning for Mississippi to give the Braves a 1-0 lead. The lead stayed until the 4th inning, when West Tenn scored Alex Liddi on a sac-fly RBI from Guillermo Quiroz. An inning later, the Jaxx scored in the same fashion they scored an inning prior. This time, Nate Tenbrink delivered the sac-fly that scored Carlos Triunfel to make the score 2-1, Jaxx. West Tenn went on to add one run in the 6th and another in the 7th. The other Braves' run came on an RBI single from Shawn McGill to score L.V. Ware.

Luis Munoz pitched six and two thirds in the win while Jacob Thompson took his 10th loss of the year. Mumba Rivera picked up his third save of the year.

Tomorrow, the Braves start a four game series at Birmingham. The first pitch is at 7:05 and Mississippi will pitch RHP Randall Delgado (2-5; 5.26). The Barons will send out LHP Justin Edwards (3-9; 6.08).
