D-Fenders to Play Santa Cruz in the First Round

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders will play the Santa Cruz Warriors in the first round of the NBA D-League Playoffs, it was announced today.
The D-Fenders finished as the number two overall seed and earned the right to select their opponent after securing the West Division title in the regular season. Los Angeles had the second choice of opponent, following the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, who finished with the best overall record.
The D-Fenders have played the Santa Cruz Warriors eight previous times this season, earning a 4-4 record against the division foe. This series will mark the first time that these two teams have met in the postseason.
First Round Schedule:
Game 1: Thursday, April 10th, at 7:00pm PST (Kaiser Permanente Arena / Santa Cruz, CA)
Game 2: Saturday, April 12th, at 6:30pm PST (Toyota Sports Center / El Segundo, CA)
Game 3 (if necessary): Tuesday, April 15th, at 7:00pm PST (Toyota Sports Center / El Segundo, CA)
