
D-Fenders Pick up 7-1 Dryden

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 13, 2007 - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired center Robb Dryden and waived forward Aloysius Anagonye due to injury.
Dryden, 7-1, 260, from the University of Georgia, began the season with the Bakersfield Jam after being taken in the third round of the 2006 D-League expansion draft. He played in four games with the Jam, averaging 15.3 minutes, 3.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocked shots before being waived on Dec. 1, 2006.
Anagonye played in 17 games (16 starts), averaging 27.9 minutes, 9.5 points and 5.6 rebounds, The D-Fenders will have first right of refusal when his injury is rehabilitated.
Dryden will join Los Angeles in time for the D-Fenders to face Fort Worth in the second game of the D-League MLK Showcase in Monday.
