
D.C. United to host Career Fair prior to Kansas City match

Washington, D.C. (September 4, 2009) -D.C. United announced today it will host a Career Fair prior to its upcoming game against the Kansas City Wizards on Sept. 9. Approximately 20 regional sports-related organizations will be present at the event which will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. on the concourse level behind sections 301-304 at RFK Stadium.
Companies in attendance will provide a face-to-face networking opportunity for those seeking a position in the sports and entertainment industry. Among those confirmed are a wide variety of sports teams, leagues, media outlets, marketing firms, athletic departments and more. Highlighting the job fair will be D.C. United, the MLS League office, MLS expansion club the Philadelphia Union, the Washington Freedom (WPS) and the Washington Nationals (MLB).
Admission is $25 per person and includes a Premium level game ticket to see D.C. United take on the Kansas City Wizards at 7:30 p.m. ET. An extended informal networking opportunity will occur during the game in the Champions Club area overlooking the field, including food and non-alcoholic beverages, for an additional $25. A cash bar will also be available.
