D.C. United players to visit Children's National Medical Center

Washington, D.C. (June 9, 2008) - D.C. United players will be making a special appearance in the community this week. Ben Olsen, Zach Wells, Mike Zaher, Marc Burch, Devon McTavish, Bryan Namoff, Domenic Mediate and Dan Stratford will all be on hand to meet and play soccer games with children who are patients at the Children's National Medical Center.

In addition, D.C. United will partner with the Theodore Roosevelt Association to hand out teddy bears. Since Theodore Roosevelt was the inspiration for the teddy bear, the Association provided approximately 200 bears to hand out to the children, and will be present to assist with the activities.
