
D.C. United host Team Manager Appreciation Night

Washington, D.C. (August 2, 2008) - D.C. United today announced plans to host its first ever Team Manager Appreciation Night during the Black-and-Red's match against FC Dallas on Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium. The event will recognize all youth team managers in the area and will present the "Team Manager of the Year" award.
Before the game, participating team managers and their families will be able to take part in a private photo opportunity with the MLS Cup trophy while a D.C. United player will sign autographs. Managers will then be recognized on the field before the game with a special PA and scoreboard announcement. In addition, the 2008 Team Manager of the Year will be recognized with a plaque, field level seats and a commemorative photo. All managers will receive two complimentary tickets and a free D.C. United jersey when attending with their team of 20 or more people.
