D.C. United en Accion Debuts Saturday

Washington, D.C. (May 2, 2006) - For the fourth consecutive year, D.C. United, in partnership with WFDC Univision Washington, announced plans to broadcast a weekly 30-minute Spanish-language TV program throughout the 2006 Major League Soccer season. D.C. United en Accion will air every Saturday from 10:00-10:30 a.m. ET. The premiere episode will be shown on Saturday, May 6, prior to the Black-and-Red's match that evening versus the Colorado Rapids.

"D.C. United en Accion has proved to be a valuable vehicle to share news and information on the club with our Hispanic fans," said United Sr. Vice president Stephen Zack. "With the help of our sponsors, this show continues to focus on the best organization in the League, both on and off of the field."

Hosted by Alejandro Bravo, the show will bring fans the most comprehensive, in-depth D.C. United soccer news, with features, game analysis, and interviews with coaches and players. Bravo is also the host of La Tribuna del D.C. United, the club's hour-long weekly Spanish-language radio show that airs Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. ET on WZHF Radio Continental 1390 AM.
