
D.C. United announces remainder of preseason schedule

Washington, D.C. (March 2, 2007) - D.C. United announced today the second half of the club's preseason schedule, highlighted by a CONCACAF Champions' Cup semifinal match-up with CD Guadalajara of Mexico and a friendly with CD Motagua of Honduras in Miami, Fla. Following a day off today, United will travel to Sunrise, Fla. tomorrow to begin the club's second pre-season camp. United will travel to Guadalajara, Mex. for a third camp in late March. United's MLS season kicks off on Saturday, April 7 when the team travels to Colorado to face the Rapids as they open their brand new stadium, Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Motagua (8:30 p.m., Tropical Park, Miami, Fla.) Saturday, March 10: Return to Washington, DC Sunday, March 11 - Friday, March 23: Training in Washington, D.C. Thursday, March 15: CONCACAF Champions' Cup Match v. CD Guadalajara Saturday, March 24: Depart for Guadalajara, Mex. Saturday, March 24 - Wednesday, April 3: Training in Guadalajara, Mex.
