DENVER, Colo. - The Denver Cutthroats won two of their three home games last week to pull themselves into a fourth place tie in the Central Hockey League and now hit the road for a three-game stretch beginning on Tuesday night.

Overall Record: 10-8-1

November 28 vs. Bloomington Blaze, 5-1 Win

Jamie MacQueen (two goals, one assist) and Luke Fulghum (one goal, two assists) led the way offensively for the Cutthroats with three-point nights and Kent Patterson stopped 32 of 33 shots in the victory.

November 30 vs. Wichita Thunder, 5-3 Loss

The Cutthroats and Thunder combined for five power play goals in the contest as Wichita opened up a 2-0 lead in the first period and never looked back. Brad Smyth recorded a pair of goals for Denver in the loss as part of a three-point night.

December 1 vs. Wichita Thunder, 2-0 Win

Troy Schwab and Brad Smyth provided the offense for the Fish while Kent Patterson shut the door for the first shutout of his pro career with 29 saves as the Cutthroats topped the second place Thunder. Smyth extended his point streak to six games for Denver.

Tuesday the Cutthroats visit the Sundogs at Tim's Toyota Center, where they are currently 0-3-0 on the season. Friday will be Denver's toughest test of the season so far as the Americans currently sit at the top of the CHL with a 13-4-1 record. Saturday will be Denver's only visit of the year to the Fort Worth Brahmas, who the Cutthroats have beaten two of three times this season.
