Williamsport Crosscutters in their Aly's Monkey Movement jerseys

The Williamsport Crosscutters recently held a jersey auction to benefit Aly's Monkey Movement. The charity, whose mission is to "Change the world, one monkey at a time", was started in 2019 by then 10-year-old Aly Creasy. The charity provides stuffed animal monkeys to children locally and all over the world who may be experiencing a difficult time in their lives. To date, the charity has donated over 6,500 stuffed monkeys to children.
The Crosscutters July 8 game was designated as Aly's Monkey Movement Night and sponsored by UPMC. It featured Cutters players and coaches in specially designed jerseys that were available to fans via an online auction that raised $4,761.75 for the charity.
A check was presented to Aly's Monkey Movement prior to the July 15 Crosscutters game.
