Cutters Opener Suspended

Williamsport Crosscutters News Release


The Williamsport Crosscutters inaugural game as an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies was suspended by rain Tuesday evening after two innings of play. The contest with State College will be continued on Thursday when the two teams return to Historic Bowman Field. Williamsport took its two run lead in the bottom of the second when D'Arby Myers drove in a pair with a single. The game will resume where it left of on Thursday night at Bowman Field. The suspended game will resume at 6:05, with that night's regularly scheduled contest to follow. The Sawbuck Series will continue Wednesday night on the road at State College.

Next Home Game: Thursday, June 21st vs. State College at Bowman Field- 6:05pm
