Five errors during the game Saturday night hurt the Cutters as they lost 7-6 to Hudson Valley. Down four runs in the bottom of the eighth the Cutters plated three to make it 7-6 but could not score in the ninth. 1B Steven Pearce went 2 for 3 with a RBI single and a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning. C Chris Jones went 1 for 4 with a RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning for the Cutters. RHP Derek Antelo (1-2) went five and one third innings, giving up three hits, four earned runs, and striking out six. The Cutters bullpen threw three and two thirds innings giving up four hits and struck out five. The Cutters lost the series with Hudson Valley two games to one.
