The Cutters tallied another victory after defeating the Vermont Expos 4-2 Saturday night in the first of a six game home stand. The win marks the Cutters fourth win in a row and it puts Williamsport back at one game over .500 (13-12). The Cutters started early when 3B John Santiago hit a solo home run to left center field in the bottom of the second inning. The home run was Santiago's second of they year as he finished the night 2 for 3 with a single, home run and an RBI. The Cutters had another solid performance by their starting pitcher. RHP Joe Bauserman (1-1) went 5.0 innings, giving up 1 run on 3 hits. The Cutters will play game two of this three game series Sunday night at Bowman Field.
