HARRISBURG, Pa. - Justin Wilson (1-0) hurled six scoreless innings while allowing two hits to lead the Altoona Curve to a, 7-2, victory over the Harrisburg Senators on Friday night at Metro Bank Park. The Curve lead the best-of-five series two games to one and can clinch a spot to the Eastern League Championship Series for the second time in franchise history on Saturday night.

Wilson, who put together the best start of the series for Altoona, worked around five walks and fanned seven. Harrisburg went 0-for-6 with runners-in-scoring position against the lefty, and failed to score with two on and nobody out during innings one and six. In the eighth off Michael Colla, the Senators once again put the first two batters on base, but failed to score. In all three situations, Steve Lombardozzi and Josh Johnson were the batters who reached.

Altoona tagged starter Ryan Tatusko (0-1) for three runs in the third inning on Matt Hague's bases-clearing double. Tatusko suffered the loss, yielding eight hits and three runs over six innings.

The Curve greeted reliever Hassan Pena with back-to-back homers to start the seventh inning. Chase d'Arnaud clocked an opposite-field homer and Josh Harrison launched a big fly over the left-field seats. Altoona added two unearned runs in the eighth inning on an error by shortstop Josh Johnson, enabling Jim Negrych and Miles Durham to score.

Negrych, who was making his first appearance in the series, finished the game 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored while Durham also had a pair of hits. Colla ended up working two scoreless innings before Michael Dubee gave up a pinch hit, two-run home run to Adam Fox in the ninth.

Game four of the series is Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. from Metro Bank Park on City Island. Altoona's LHP Tony Watson (6-4, 3.09) gets the nod against Harrisburg's RHP Tanner Roark (1-1, 2.50) in the game four tilt.

Airtime on flagship ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
