
Garrison Claimed By Yankees, Assigned To Trenton

(TRENTON, NJ) The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announced today that LHP Steve Garrison has been claimed off waivers from the San Diego Padres and has been assigned to Trenton.
Garrison, a Trenton, NJ native, went a combined 2-4 with a 5.37 ERA in 17 games with the AZL Padres, High-A Lake Elsinore and Triple-A Portland. Garrison was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 10th round (295th overall) of the 2005 Major League Baseball Draft out of The Hun School of Princeton.
The EL Eastern Division Series continues with Game 3 on Friday at 6:35 PM from Manchester, NH. LHP Manuel Banuelos will make a rehab start for the Thunder, while New Hampshire gives the ball to RHP Scott Richmond. Catch all the action on 107.7 FM The Bronc or online at www.trentonthunder.com.
