
Curve Single-Game Tickets On Sale Saturday

ALTOONA- Single-game tickets for the Altoona Curve's Tenth Anniversary 2008 Season will go on sale to the general public starting at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. At that time, fans can purchase seats to any of the club's 71 Eastern League home games at Blair County Ballpark, including the Home Opener on Thursday, April 3rd against the Reading Phillies.
Tickets can be purchased in one of three ways beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday.
- In person at the Blair County Ballpark Ticket Office, located on the ballpark's Upper Ticket Plaza, just off Park Avenue
- Over the phone by calling (814) 943-5400 or toll-free (877) 99-CURVE
- On-Line at AltoonaCurve.com and clicking the "BUY TICKETS" link
Curve single-game ticket prices for the 2008 season are $14 for "Rail Kings" seats (located on Toyota Party Deck), $11 for Diamond Club (100 Level), $8 for Terrace (200 Level), $7 for Grandstand (300 Level), $6 for UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction Outfield Bleachers and $5 for General Admission, including the First-Base Bleachers. Seniors 65 and older and children 12 & under receive $1 off Terrace, Grandstand and Outfield Reserved seating.
In addition to being able to purchase single-game tickets to any 2008 Curve home game, three (3) brand-new single-game ticket packages for both families and individuals will also go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. Those new offerings include:
- PONDEROSA STEAKHOUSE FAMILY FOUR PACK MONDAY Families of four will receive four (4) Grandstand (300 Level) tickets, four (4) regular hot dogs and four (4) small sodas for $40 - only $10 per person
- GIANT EAGLE ADVANTAGE CARD WEDNESDAYS Fans who present their Giant Eagle Advantage Card in person at the Curve Ticket Office will receive a "buy one, get one free" ticket in the UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction (OF Bleachers) section for any Wednesday Curve home game at Blair County Ballpark
- APRIL "SEASON'S HEATING UP" NIGHTS During the month of April, fans can be whisked away in their minds to their favorite warm weather destination with this $10 package, which includes one (1) Grandstand (300 Level) ticket in the "Tropical Zone", a HOT dog, a HOT chocolate and a Hawaiian Lei.
Also starting Saturday at 9 a.m., fans can purchase tickets to the following Curve games which will feature special ticket or food offers. Those dates include:
- Friday, April 4 - "Food Frenzy Night": $1 Hot Dogs and Half-Price Curve Burgers all game long
- Monday, April 7 - "We Win You Win Night": If the Curve win the April 7th game, all fans will receive a free ticket of equal or lesser value to the April 8th game
- Friday, April 18 - "$1 Chili Bowl and Half-Price Coffee and Hot Chocolate Night"
- Saturday, April 19 - "Atlantic Broadband Half-Price Curve Burger Blowout Night"
- Tuesday, April 22 - "Dollar Day": All Grandstand (300 Level) and UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction (Outfield Reserved Bleachers) tickets cost just $1
- Tuesday, April 29 - "$1 Hot Dog Night"
- Tuesday, May 13 - "Atlantic Broadband $1 Hot Dog Night"
- Wednesday, May 14 - "Atlantic Broadband Half-Price Curve Burger Blowout Night"
- Monday, May 26 - "Food Frenzy Day": $1 Hot Dogs and Half-Price Curve Burgers all game long
- Wednesday, June 4 - "Atlantic Broadband $1 Hot Dog Night"

To mark the first day of individual ticket sales, the Curve will hold their annual TicketPalooza event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at Blair County Ballpark. This free event, which will be held on the ballpark's Upper Ticket Plaza, features free food and beverages, kids games and a kids Easter Egg Hunt, visits from Curve mascots Steamer, Diesel Dawg and Bob the Baseball Dog, a petting zoo for kids, inflatable games, fan Q&A sessions with Curve management, ballpark tours, a Curve Job Fair, and several other fun activities.
