Curve Home Opener Postponed Due to Rain

CURVE, Pa. - Thursday night's home opener between the Altoona Curve and the Erie SeaWolves has been postponed due to rain. A makeup date for the game has yet to be announced. The Curve and SeaWolves will play their regularly-scheduled game at 6:30 p.m. Friday night with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.

Those fans that held tickets for tonight's game (Thursday, April 3) can exchange those tickets for any other 2014 regular season Curve home game for equal or lesser value based upon availability.

Highlighting Friday night's Curve game will be an appearance by Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Cam Heyward, presented by WTAJ and Holiday Inn Express. Heyward will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and will sign autographs for two hours on the concourse during the game.

RHP Nick Kingham, who was scheduled to throw tonight's Curve opener, is scheduled to pitch tomorrow night's game versus Erie's RHP Warwick Saupold.
