Dayton Dragons News Release

DAYTON, OHIO-The Cincinnati Reds official website, reds.com, is reporting that pitcher Johnny Cueto will start for the Dayton Dragons on Tuesday, May 14th on an injury rehabilitation assignment. The Dragons host the West Michigan Whitecaps at 7:00 p.m. at Fifth Third Field.

Lawn tickets for the game are available for $7.00. Call the Dragons Box Office at (937) 228-2287 or purchase on-line at daytondragons.com.

Tuesday's game will mark Cueto's second rehab start with the Dragons after he fired three innings last Thursday against Lansing, allowing one run on four hits with no walks and four strikeouts. He threw 51 pitches and is expected to increase that number on Tuesday.

Cueto is on the Reds 15-day disabled list with a strained right lat muscle. He has not pitched in a Major League game since April 13.

All Dragons games can be heard on WONE 980 AM Radio and via the internet at daytondragons.com and wone.com.
