(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club and Scotiabank have come to terms on a multi-year naming rights deal that will now see the home of the C's referred to as Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium.

"This is a day we have all been looking forward to very much," says Vancouver Canadians President Andy Dunn who along with owners Jake Kerr and Jeff Mooney have found a partner in Scotiabank that is also committed to the local community.

"To have a partner like Scotiabank work together with us to ensure we have a home for professional baseball for years to come is something we are all very proud of," added Dunn.

"Our sponsorship of Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium is a natural extension of our support for minor league baseball and the wide array of events and activities we are involved in that enrich the lives of our staff, customers and members of the community" said David Poole, Senior Vice President, BC & Yukon Region, Scotiabank. "We've been friends of the Vancouver Canadians for many years, and as a fan I'm really looking forward to an exciting 2010 baseball season".
