
C's season ends with 3-1 loss to Everett in West Fina

(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Canadians just couldn't find the one hit that could have extended the 2010 Northwest League West Division Final as Vancouver would strand 13 base runners falling 3-1 to the Everett Aquasox on Tuesday night out at Memorial Stadium in Everett, WA.
The Aquasox would come out swinging for their first trip to the Northwest League final since 2002 with a run in the bottom of the 1st inning. Everett CF Robert Anston doubled off of Canadians starter RHP Nathan Long, was moved over to third base on a sac bunt from 2B Terry Serrano and scored on a sacrifice fly from 3B Kevin Mailloux giving Everett a 1-0 lead.
Everett would extend their lead their lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning with an RBI single from LF Kalian Sams scoring C Steven Baron to put the C's behind 3-0 early.
Vancouver would strand 13 runners on the night, including five runners at third base as the Canadians only run would come in the top of the 7th inning when 2B Ryan Pineda would score on a ground out from CF Michael Choice cutting the lead to 3-1.
The Aquasox advance to the Northwest League Championship by beating the Canadians 2-games-to-none in the West Division Final presented by Scotiabank.
