
Crush's Robert Thomas named AFL Ironman of the Week

DENVER - The Arena Football League announced today that Colorado Crush fullback/ linebacker Robert Thomas was named the league's Ironman of the Week for Week 5 of the 2007 season.
THOMAS, (6-1, 252, Henderson St.) blocked a 30-yard field goal attempt with 48 seconds remaining in the game that would have put the Nashville Kats up by 10 points. After Colorado tied the game at 48-48, Thomas scored his second rushing touchdown of the game with six seconds left to give the Colorado Crush a 55-48 victory over the Kats on Sunday. On defense, Thomas, who was also the league's Ironman of the Week in Week 3, recorded two tackles for the Crush.
The Colorado Crush head out for the first of back-to-back road games when they travel to San Jose for a Friday night contest against the SaberCats on April 6th at 8:30 p.m. MT.
