Offensive production on rise heading into week six

NEW YORK - The AFL has seen a significant rise in overall offensive production through the first five weeks of the 2007 season. Scoring is up 10 points per game compared to the first five weeks of 2006.

Individuals are also producing big numbers. Nashville Kats FB/LB DAN ALEXANDER, Arizona Rattlers QB SHERDRICK BONNER, and Utah Blaze QB JOE GERMAINE are among many players on pace to have record-setting seasons.

Following are some of the figures that demonstrate significant differences between 2006 and 2007 through the first five weeks.
