Crushers Gear Up for Final Home Stand of the Regular Season

Avon, Ohio --These next six games are your last chance to catch the Lake Erie Crushers in regular season play at All Pro Freight Stadium in 2012! The final regular season home stand is filled with great promotions.

The Lake Erie Crushers are closing out the regular season starting Tuesday, August 21st. The Crushers will be at All Pro Freight Stadium for two, three game series. The first series is against the Road Warriors and the final series of the season will be against the Traverse City Beach Bums. All games in this home stand will start at 7:05pm with the exception of Sunday; a 5:05pm start. Gates will open one hour prior to game time.

To start off the series on Tuesday, anyone who presents their Lorain County Community College ID will receive $3 off a Home Box ticket. It's also two-fer-Tuesday. Select concession menu items will be on sale for $2.

Wednesday is Dollar Dog night. Hot dogs at both concession stands will be $1. Also, senior citizens will receive $3 off a Home Box ticket.

The final game of the Road Warrior series will showcase Sausage Fest. Fligner's will be out on the concourse passing out sample of their sausage. The Crushers will also be hosting a poker tournament Thursday night.

Ohio State and Michigan fans are encouraged to dress in their garb as the Beach Bums from Traverse City, Michigan make their way into Buckeye Nation. Big Nut, the ultimate Buckeye fan will be at All Pro Freight Stadium ready for pictures and signing autographs. Friday night's game will conclude with a fireworks show.

Saturday night is our final giveaway. Courtesy of Community Star Credit Union the first 1,000 fans to enter the stadium will receive a blanket.

The Crushers want to end the regular season by rewarding all their wonderful fans. Sunday is Fan Appreciation Night. Sunday night's 5:05pm game will be filled with giveaways and drawings.

The Lake Erie Crushers, the 2011 Frontier League Organization of the year, play ball at All Pro Freight Stadium, a 5,000 capacity stadium located in Avon, OH.
