
Crush Crumble the Ontario Warriors

The Orange County Crush basketball team was successful in beating the Ontario Warriors Tuesday night. The two teams exchanged points equally during the first quarter, but by the turn of the second quarter the "Crush" began to pull away. During the third quarter, the "Crush" took a demanding lead by a 20 plus deficit.
As the game moved midway through the fourth quarter, the Warriors mounted a scoring spurt, but they could never get beyond the deficit of 12 points.
The hot scoring hands for the "Crush" included Jerry Dupree with 20 points, Derrick Dial scored 19, Damian Cantrell scored 17 points, Juaquin Hawkins had 16, Sean Rooks scored 15 and Fred Vinson sunk 13 points.
The leading scorer for the Warriors was Jelani Janisse, with 23 points.
