Crunch Recall Goaltender Dan Taylor

Syracuse, NY (October 14, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have recalled goaltender Dan Taylor from Gwinnett (ECHL).

Taylor, 23, has appeared in 38 combined American Hockey League games since 2007-08, all with Manchester, going 20-9-4 with a 2.50 goals against average, .909 save percentage and four shutouts.

A native of Plymouth, England, Taylor was selected by Los Angeles in the seventh round, 221st overall, in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by the Crunch to an AHL contract on October 1.

The Crunch's next game is on Friday, October 16 when they battle Norfolk at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
