AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass.* ... The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

- Providence Bruins defenseman Drew Fatahas been suspended for four (4) games as a result of his actions in a game at Portland on Oct. 10. Fata was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).

Fata will miss Providence's games on Friday (Oct. 16) vs. Lowell, Saturday (Oct. 17) vs. Portland, Oct. 23 vs. Worcester and Oct. 24 at Manchester.

- Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Trevor Gillieshas been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Oct. 10. Gillies was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).

Gillies will miss Bridgeport's games on Saturday (Oct. 17) vs. Norfolk and Sunday (Oct. 18) vs. Adirondack.

- Springfield Falcons left wing Liam Reddoxhas been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Hartford on Oct. 10. Reddox was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).

Reddox will miss Springfield's game on Friday (Oct. 16) vs. Manchester.
