Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (January 10, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled goaltender Jeff Deslauriers and assigned left wing J.F. Jacques to the Crunch.

Deslauriers, 27, has played in 14 games for the Crunch this season recording a 3.86 goals-against average and .877% save percentage. Deslauriers has won two of his last three games with the Crunch bringing his season record to 6-7-0-0. Deslauriers was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the second round, 31st overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. The Ducks signed Deslauriers as free agent on July 12, 2012.

Jacques, 26, has played in six games for the Ducks this season, going scoreless and recording 12 penalty minutes. In 23 games with the Crunch he has collected 19 points (11g, 8a) and 43 penalty minutes. Jacques was selected by Edmonton in the second round, 68th overall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he was signed by the Ducks as a free agent on July 6, 2012.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton to face the defending Calder Cup Champion Senators on January 13. The team returns home on January 20, 2012 to host the Norfolk Admirals at the War Memorial Arena.
