Troy Bodie Suspended for Three Games

Syracuse, NY (January 10, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the American Hockey League has suspended right wing Troy Bodie for three (3) games.

Bodie's suspension is the consequence of his illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Hamilton on January 6, 2012. Bodie has already served one game of the suspension. He will miss Syracuse's games Friday, January 13 at Binghamton and Saturday, January 14 at Albany.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton to face the defending Calder Cup Champion Senators on January 13. The team returns home on January 20, 2012 to host the Norfolk Admirals at the War Memorial Arena. Season or single game tickets can be purchased either in person at the Crunch Office located at 800 South State Street in Syracuse, or by calling the office at 315-473-4444.
