Woodbridge, Va. -- Judging by the crowd of 3,052 at the end of the game, nobody would've thought that the visiting team had a commanding lead but Frederick used an eight-run fifth to run away with a 14-3 victory over Potomac Saturday night.

The loud and raucous crowd seemed not to care that the visitors from the north collected run after run.

Leading 2-1 in the fifth, the Keys used two walks, a hit batter, an error and five hits to score eight times, twice off reliever Jim Henderson who tried to calm the storm.

Henderson, who took over for Collin Balester after 4 1/3, allowed five runs over the next 1 2/3.

Kole Strayhorn looked to have the Keys locked up, allowing only one run on a pair of ninth inning doubles after working out of a jam in the eighth.

Frederick was led by Nolan Reimold (2-for-4, double, home run, three runs, four RBI) who hit his fourth home run of the season in the sixth. Jason Fransz went 1-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI, smacking his league-leading fifth home run of the season to cap the fifth.

All of the offense by Frederick overshadowed Tony Blanco's first home run with Potomac this season. His solo home run in the second inning gives him 28 home runs when playing for Potomac (Cannons in '03 and '04, Nationals in '06) which ties him for fifth on the franchise list with Lance Belen, Hensley "Bam Bam" Meulens and Nate Dishington.

These two teams are back on the ball Sunday afternoon at 1:05 p.m. for the series and homestand finale. Autograph Sunday presented by MIX 107.3 highlights the days events with Balester and Clint Everts signing autographs on the concourse before the game beginning at 12:15 p.m.
