Hickory, NC- The 'Dads lost to the Kannapolis Intimidators 2-1 in ten innings on Sunday night. Despite Sunday's loss, the Crawdads won the series against the Intimidators three games to one.
Tyler Thomas, acquired by the Rangers in a trade with the Cubs on Thursday evening, Crawdads got the start in his 'Dads debut. He pitched four hitless innings, with one walk and three strikeouts.
The Intimidators got an unearned run across against Alex Eubanks in the top of the seventh to take a 1-0 lead.
Tyler Ratliff hit his seventh homerun of the season to tie the game at one.
The game remained tied until the tenth inning when Kannapolis was able to bring in the designated runner from second to take a 2-1 lead.
The 'Dads will return to the Frans on Monday, July 30th for a three-game series against the Charleston RiverDogs.
